Built in a workshop, born of frustration
Years ago, my grandfather Walter was fighting the same battle every Pacific Northwest homeowner knows — endless moss, leaves, and pine needles getting into everything. The worst of it packed down between his deck boards, holding moisture against the wood and rotting them out early.
After replacing rotten boards and slogging through every tedious maintenance product on the market, he'd had enough. So he went to the workshop and built his own tool — the DEC VAC.
It's still the simplest, fastest way we've found to keep a deck clean down in the gaps where it actually matters.
